number two

I’ve been working on cards and letters to friends and family for the past couple weeks. We didn’t really buy anything this year, not even for each other. I think its better this way anyway. I put more time in this than I would going out to buy something that someone probably doesn’t really need.
ok.
so.
It is still snowing. Ten days and almost 2ft of snow later…I’m a little tired of being stuck inside. We walked like 4 miles in the snow yesterday, for some reason…and my feet were frozen and Matt said my face looked liked I had been out in the snow for months. The snow was blowing so hard it was sticking to my face and melting…not a pretty site.
Today is Matt’s birthday. I made him sugar cookies. He likes them more than cake, so there you go.
I’m looking forward to 2009. I’ll be 26 years old in a few weeks! This is the year. I can feel it. I am going to throw my art out in the universe like a super high bounce ball. I think my ball might be clear with spirals of color inside it that keep going deep into the middle, until is disappears like a rainbow hole(not to be mistaken for a black hole, but same concept). It will be better than the ball that I almost got in a fight over with my friend Shelley, when we were little, at a fair. I won. I collected bouncy balls. I use to put them in my care bear tin lunch box and throw them up all at once in the house. I almost always lost one under the china cabinet…but it was always worth it.
My mom use to put bologna and ketchup sandwiches in that lunchbox. gourmet to the extreme. don’t be jealous.
I will tell you right now, I am impatient and spontaneous, so my grammar and sentence structure will not be on par. I can’t be honest and over think sentence formation at the same time. Hopefully you can follow. If you are reading? I’ll let you hold my super high bounce ball to make up for it. Its pretty.
