and so it begins…

Two more loads last night…most of the small stuff is packed. After dozens of moves, I think I’ve finally figured out how to not make it so awful. Spread it out a bit, and plan a little more. Also, the fact that we have places to put everything is a main plus.

Matt and I want to get an old radio flyer to tote our groceries since we still live a few blocks from a grocery store! And next to that is the library! I had a huge stack put on hold and they all came in at the same time…
me: “ummm, I just returned a couple, how many am I allowed to check out?”
Librarian: “Oh you can check out up to 150, so I think you are just fine.”
me: “Whoa…alright then.”
So my basement studio is going to be amazing. I can’t wait to make it feel magical. It has everything I ever wanted! It has a sink to wash my brushes out. It has a desk for drawing, it has tons of cabinet storage, and it even has a bathroom..(.as soon as I make it a little less dungeon I will use it) I can even paint on the walls!
“Hello inspiration, I’ve always wanted to get to know you a little better. Let’s borrow each others clothes, frolic like darling dear, and dance in the moonlight.”
and maybe I’ve been a rocket ship some little girl made in science class, maybe she put slightly too much glitter on her model, and maybe it polluted the fuse a bit. But its been burning for quite some time now, and lo and behold, its going to fly the highest.
The beginning of this entry felt more dreamy until we just received a bill from our current landlord charging us for part of the month of August because we didn’t realize some fine print in the lease that they neglected to tell us in person, when we deliriously signed the lease a year ago after driving 5,000 miles. $$$ why do jump out of our pockets instead of in. You need some training Mr. Moneyhead. “Stay…..sttttaaayyyy…..ssstttaayyy….”
