Good times have been had lately. Enjoying the company of some new friends! We even had our first successful girls night! And I got to visit the coast again this past Saturday! Ice cream and beaches…a killer combo!

Been working on a huge project…it was given me a little grief so I finished the piece above to take a break! I figure its better to not fight with yourself too hard..just let it be and start some other projects.

I have a show coming up in September, just a group show in Lake Oswego…but perhaps more art will be bought!

Grad school…the deadline to apply will come sooner than I think…which one!!?? I want the best experience…its so tough! I wish there was a school that studied the discipline Yogis learn along with Drawing and Painting. I mean can you imagine?? Learning how to meditate the ego away to really find that pure state…and then to draw off that! Incomprehensible! So basically, I need a Guru Art Teacher. Yes, please. I would like to order one of those, with a side of amazing.

I can’t wait to go to New York in a month!! I can’t wait to hang out with Anna Burns!! I always have so much fun in NY.

waking up earlier than I wish.

drawing at dawn, yoga, watering garden, walk to the library, making stuff for the bbq tonight…drawing again.

what if we could appreciate our lives the same way we see other’s lives. what if we could be grateful and live in the moment. I’m tired of racing against the timer I keep setting for myself.

p.s why is it grateful and not greatful?
