Hey Barbier, come visit me through some sort of religious experience and tell me your inspirations.
The end of this year is going to speed by, I can tell. I have a lot to do in the future. All around the same time! I just got two new shows. One is going to be on Dec. 4th in LA and the other is here sometime in December too. Plus, the show at Tiga in January! I’ll give more details on everything when it gets closer.
In the mean time I’m trying to boost my shop sales and sell my prints at some of the art walk nights.
New York on FRIDAY! I can’t wait!! I’ve been craving the sound of the city. I want to visit an apartment, high enough to see the tops of other buildings, with the windows open and listen to the sound of urgency.
I just hope its cool enough to wear fall clothes…I’m over this warm weather. We are suppose to hit the 90’s again this week. Late September in Oregon…really? hm.
ok bye
OK so here are some goals for the end of this month and October:
-plan and work on some holiday prints for etsy
-visit a couple grad schools in NY
-update website with possible shop for originals
-keep working on sketchbook project…(a little behind!!)
-story project
-keep studying tarot
-finish my letter of intent
-notify the people for letters of recommendation
-pick 4-5 grad schools to apply
STAY FOCUSED!
but yesterday they smelled like pickled jalapenos!

We went out to our garden and holy moly…so much produce! A million jalapenos were ready to consume…so why not pickle them?! We had 30+ tomatoes all ripen at the same time. I think we are going to be tomato sauced and souped out by the end of this season!

I’m really a baker at heart though… and the season is changing…my baking hankering is becoming stronger and stronger! I made some lemon french muffins today…and I can’t decided between making homemade pretzels or cinnamon buns this weekend. Can you believe I have never done a yeast bread? Thats my mission. Some of these recipes have to rise overnight…hmmmm…
I got another illustrating job, this one was way bigger than the last one! The story comes out tomorrow! I’ll post the link! YAY!
All I can think about is New York, New York, New York! Can’t wait!!!!!
Just added a blog to my site, get the RSS feed to keep updated!
Just added some new work and finished some much needed cleaning around here, check it out!
Five days in the car and close to 3,000 miles later we have arrived in Portland, Oregon. I love it here and look forward to many years in the Pacific Northwest.
